Breath, 2014

Oil on canvas

44 x 66 inch

My work is often infused with imagery that is filled with tension and struggle. Figures are captured between celebration and discord. Bodies intertwine and gesticulate in frozen moments asking us to join in or intervene. I use this imagery to mirror our own everyday existence in all its complexities, trying to capture it with a visual beauty that fascinates me.
